I WIRELESS SUPPORTS JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION
Coralville, IA - i wireless is proud to contribute to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by participating in the JDRF Sneaker Sales Campaign.
During the month of February, i wireless invited customers to support diabetes research with a $1 contribution. Customers making a donation wrote their names on a JDRF sneaker, which were displayed at their retail location. All donations went to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
“We are excited to support this beneficial cause the last four years,” said Gary Baron, vice-president of marketing for i wireless. “And deeply appreciate the generosity of everyone who contributed to this important fund-raising campaign”.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation was founded in 1970 to discover a cure for type 1 diabetes and it’s complications through extensive research. Today, JDRF is the world’s largest charitable funder of diabetes research and is associated with most major scientific breakthroughs. In conjunction with JDRF’s Walk to Cure Diabetes and other participating events, these programs raised $80 million in funding for diabetes in 2009.
