Why am I receiving a "tethering is not available" error message?

If you received a message stating, "tethering is not available with your current web plan" your current plan does not support hotspot and tethering capabilities.

If you would like to add Mobile Hotspot capabilities to your plan, please stop by your nearest iWireless location or call 1.888.550.4497 for more information on plans that include Mobile Hotspot.

If you do not want to add Mobile Hotspot capabilities, make sure the mobile hotspot option is disabled, so you can continue to access mobile data.
